Find out how WA Cares stacks up against private insurance or Medicare for long-term care. With WA Cares, we contribute only when we’re working, and are vested after contributing for 10 years. If you’re close to retirement, you can receive benefits even if you work for just 1 more year. And even if you’re working part-time (as little as 10 hrs/week on average).
